A bi-directional sync keeps their POS and online store in step, feeds product data to Locally from a single hub, and sets the stage for unifying accounting with Xero.

Initially, Lighthouse Marine needed to connect their Counterpoint software with their BigCommerce website. Operating these two systems independently would be burdensome and unwieldy. They needed to be able to have their back-of-the-house point-of-sale software and their ecommerce website working in tandem automatically.
Over time, they’ve identified other parts of the organization that require the same level of automation. For instance, BigCommerce would communicate data to Klaviyo for marketing purposes, but Counterpoint did not have a way of doing so. With iPaaS.com, another integration could be enabled in their account to solve this.
Most recently, they realized it was time to modernize their accounting systems, and began the journey of moving from QuickBooks to Xero – with the same goals of automating data flows between their new accounting suite and the rest of their tech stack.
With the help from MiSP DSi Professionals, Lighthouse Marine has been successful in integrating a bi-directional sync of customer and gift card data between Counterpoint and BigCommerce. Their product data automatically flows from their POS to their ecommerce website, and orders flow down from their online store to their Counterpoint software.
The iPaaS.com flat file export capabilities are leveraged to provide product data to Locally.com. This data only needs to transmit from Counterpoint to the iPaaS.com hub once, and can flow to both BigCommerce and Locally.
As a next-phase, Lighthouse Marine is working to upgrade off of Quickbooks to Xero, and to unify their Counterpoint and BigCommerce data with it through iPaaS.com.
To modernize their accounting operations, Lighthouse Marine asked iPaaS.com to recommend Managed integration Service Provider (MiSP) partners. They chose DSi Professionals, who is both migrating them to Xero and, as Integrator, writing the Xero integration on the iPaaS.com Open SDK.
