How iPaaS.com and Wagento gave Keralink's eyewear brand a maintainable, near-real-time connection between its supply chain and Shopify.
The Company
CtheGood, or as it’s often referred to, CTG, has been creating quality eyewear products for decades. They’re a division of Keralink International, which is best known for its 50+ years as an eye tissue bank. This isn’t your average eyeglass retailer.
As an organization, they’re serious about helping people see – even those that can’t afford proper eyecare. That’s why they donate 100% of the profit from each CTG sale to support eye patients around the world with everything from critical eye surgeries to eliminating eyecare deserts.

Shopify, Supply Chain Product APIs
Wagento
Keralink chose Shopify as the eCommerce platform for CTG. However loading in product data from across their supply chain proved to be a time consuming task. They sought a sustainable way to automate their data flows.
With no existing way of automating these dataflows, iPaas.com was identified as an ideal way to set up the initial connections between Shopify and the source systems for CTG’s product catalog. iPaaS.com was identified as a much more maintainable and manageable solution to minimize long-term issues.
With a Marketplace of maintained integrations to systems like Shopify, a user-friendly interface, and proactive error handling, iPaaS.com would minimize efforts to ensure stable dataflows, and would make it easier to expand with additional dataflows to additional systems in the future.
The team at Wagento wrote a private integration to the iPaaS.com data hub using the iPaaS.com Open SDK. This integration allows product information to flow into iPaaS.com, where it is transformed and sent to Shopify in near-real-time.
Any data exceptions are flagged so that they can be addressed. Any large datasets are queued so that data can flow as fast as Shopify’s APIs will accept them. CTG knows that iPaaS.com’s Shopify integration is maintained – so they won’t need to keep re-writing the integration every time Shopify updates their APIs.
Similarly, they can integrate with additional datafeeds and software platforms without having to reintegrate with Shopify. They know their data is being transmitted securely, at a reasonable flat monthly price.

Wagento fulfilled 2 partner roles to make this project a success. First, they used their skills as Integrators, leveraging iPaaS.com’s Open SDK to create an integration between the software maintaining CTG’s product data, and iPaaS.com. Then, they continued forward as Managed integration Service Provider (MiSP) partners, as they configured and tested the client’s iPaaS.com account. This included activating integrations to CTG’s Shopify account and to the Private SDK Integration to their product supply chain APIs. Through this process, Wagento was able to see the project launch through from initial scoping to user acceptance testing and post-launch support.
