The Background

Pioneer Linens has benefited from the NCR Counterpoint point of sale software for many years. In more recent years, they’ve leveraged a Shopify webstore to make their product catalog more accessible to shoppers. In support of both their online and offline shopping channels, they use Mailchimp to manage email and SMS campaigns.

The Challenge

While Pioneer Linens had data flowing from Shopify to Mailchimp, data in their NCR Countpoint POS software was siloed. This meant that marketing campaigns weren’t effectively targeting their in-store shopping segment.

The Solution

iPaaS.com was implemented to flow data between the Counterpoint POS and Mailchimp. Beyond customer data, this integration can be used to flow transaction data to Mailchimp, allowing the Pioneer Linen team to target campaigns to shoppers based upon their in-store purchase histories.

The Outcome

Pioneer Linen is able to market more effectively. They’re also in a position to further automate their dataflows in the future, with options to flow data between Shopify and Counterpoint, and opportunities to leverage additional technologies, such as 99minds to set up a loyalty/rewards program that can operate seamlessly between their in-store and online sales channels.
