TruBlue Technologies makes auto belay systems for climbers and adventure seekers. With iPaaS.com connecting Magento and Oracle NetSuite, they sync products, orders, and shipment tracking across B2C and B2B storefronts.
The Company
In 2009, TruBlue Technologies was created to create auto belay products that were built for climbers, skiers, and outdoor enthusiasts. These products were engineered to be different from commercial products used in maintenance and other jobs.
They allow the climber to feel unencumbered and free to experience the head rush of truly reaching new heights. From Magnetic Breaking to stabilize a climbers descent, to applying their technologies to zip lines and free fall devices, they’ve continued to pioneer the way forward… and the way upward in adventure seekers.

TruBlue was using Adobe’s Magento Open Source for Ecommerce, while migrating to Oracle’s NetSuite for accounting and operations. They needed these systems to communicate effectively in order to optimize their business.
Their instance of Magento included extensions from popular development teams, such as AheadWorks, that needed to be able to flow data with NetSuite. That includes B2B data, such as Company records for corporate customers. They also needed the ability to support integrations with multiple storefronts, as they operate in multiple regions of the world.
They evaluated other integration solutions, such as the FarApp product that was acquired by NetSuite, but it didn’t have the flexibility that was necessary for integrating data from Magento Extensions and other requirements of the project.
iPaaS.com was selected as the integration layer to unify data across NetSuite and Magento. A 2-phased approach was selected, starting with the launch of a B2C website, and then proceeding with integrating a B2B storefront.
iPaaS.com is being used to sync Products from NetSuite to Magento. As orders are placed in the ecommerce site, they flow to the ERP for fulfillment. As orders are fulfilled in NetSuite, order updates and shipment tracking information flows to Magento.
This integration is supporting the sale of both physical goods, and service items. Customers that wish to send their products to TruBlue for service can select such services in Magento, and these orders are properly managed via the iPaaS.com dataflows.
RaveDigital, a team that’s dedicated to helping merchants thrive with Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source, helped TruBlue evaluate their integration platform options. From the selection process forward, they led the project as the Managed integration Service Provider (MiSP), and continue to assist the client with their Magento and their iPaaS.com needs.
