Virtuous CRM Integration

Keep your gift data connected across your entire organization

What the Virtuous CRM Integration Does

When a gift is created or updated in Virtuous CRM, that data automatically flows to your connected systems. Gift records sync in real time, so your fund accounting platform, CRM, or ERP always reflects the latest giving activity without anyone needing to touch a spreadsheet or run a manual import.

Common Connections

Virtuous CRM connects with Salesforce, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT, and other platforms nonprofits rely on for fund accounting, donor management, and financial reporting.

Key Use Cases

  • Automatically record new gifts in your fund accounting or ERP system the moment they are entered in Virtuous CRM
  • Keep gift amounts and donation details current across systems without manual data entry
  • Sync custom gift fields alongside core gift data so your connected systems have the full picture
  • Pull in individual gift records on demand when you need a specific donation reflected immediately

Who This Is For

  • Nonprofits using Virtuous CRM who need gift data reflected automatically in their fund accounting or financial systems
  • Development and finance teams spending time on manual gift data exports that could be automated
  • Organizations managing donors across multiple platforms who want a consistent, up-to-date record everywhere
  • Teams tracking custom gift attributes that need to carry through to reporting or downstream systems

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • Does data flow in both directions between Virtuous CRM and iPaaS.com?

No. This integration is one-directional: gifts move from Virtuous CRM into iPaaS.com only. The integration does not create, update, or delete records in Virtuous CRM.

  • What gift data is transferred to iPaaS.com?

The current release transfers the gift header, including gift ID (as Transaction Number), gift amount (as Transaction Total), and any custom fields you configure, to an iPaaS.com Transaction record. Gift-related sub-records such as designations, premiums, pledge payments, recurring gift payments, and passthroughs are not transferred in this release.

  • Will the integration import existing gifts that were in Virtuous CRM before setup?

No. The integration does not support a bulk historical sync. Only gifts received through the webhook stream after setup, or pulled individually via the iPaaS.com Manual Sync page using a specific gift ID, will reach iPaaS.com. For large historical datasets, contact iPaaS.com support.

  • Can Virtuous CRM Gift custom fields be synced to iPaaS.com?

Yes. Virtuous CRM Gift custom fields can be mapped to iPaaS.com Transaction custom fields. Supported data types are Text, Paragraph, List, Multiselect List, Boolean, Date, Decimal, and Link. The custom fields must exist in both Virtuous CRM and iPaaS.com before the mapping is configured.

Why iPaaS.com

You Own Your Configurations, Not Your Provider

Change MiSPs whenever you need to. Your configurations stay yours, fully portable, with nothing rebuilt from scratch. iPaaS.com is a certified standard, not a proprietary lock-in.

One Connection, Clean Data, Every Destination

Connect a system once and route data everywhere it needs to go, standardized and consistent across every system in your dataflow. No rebuilding the same integration five times. No cleanup on the other end.

One Flat Fee. No Surprises

Predictable monthly pricing replaces the per-connector, per-integration cost creep that defines the status quo. You know what you're paying, every month, no exceptions.

Full Visibility, Zero Guesswork

Every dataflow is logged, governed, and audit-ready from day one. When compliance asks questions, you already have answers. Governance isn't a bolt-on: it's built into how data moves.
