The Frick operates a variety of programs to best serve the public, and to support its goals as an institution. That includes operating a museum store that makes publications, custom prints, apparel and accessories, and other items available for purchase. The Frick uses the Counterpoint POS software as its retail backbone. The leverage BigCommerce to support online shopping. In addition, as part of their renovation which wrapped up in 2025, they wanted a more modern in-store checkout experience.
iPaaS.com has been a long-time vendor to The Frick, flowing data between their in-store Counterpoint point of sale software and their online BigCommerce ecommerce software. In 2025, The Frick decided to add a new “spoke” to their iPaaS.com account, adding Clover’s point of sale to their tech stack.
In doing so, they’d be able to continue using Counterpoint for managing purchase orders, inventory management, and other critical operations, while allowing on-premise shoppers at the museum store to use modern Clover point of sale terminals when completing transactions at the counter. This helped give the museum shoppers a modern in-store experience.
The museum has been able to enjoy years of reliable data automation with iPaaS.com. Their products and inventory flow from Counterpoint to their BigCommerce Ecommerce website and to their Clover retail point of sale terminals. Transactions, customer, and gift card data flow from BigCommerce to Counterpoint. Transactions flow from Clover to BigCommerce. These 3 systems are all translating, transforming, and transmitting data through iPaaS.com’s data hub, unifying these systems into an interwoven tech stack.
As a next-step, a one-way dataflow to Snowflake is being created, making data available in Snowflake for analytics, business intelligence, and reporting. With iPaaS.com, all necessary data can flow to a data lake, data warehouse, using the iPaaS.com hub as the centralized source of truth for data from Ecommerce, ERP, POS, and countless other systems.
