Every POS and online Sale in QuickBooks Online, with customers, items and payments kept in Sync.
The QuickBooks Online (QBO) integration with iPaaS.com connects Intuit’s cloud accounting software to the systems where you sell. Use it as a POS integration for QuickBooks Online, an ecommerce integration, or both. Orders post to QuickBooks as sales receipts when they’re paid, or as invoices when they’re sold on terms, with line items, tax, shipping, discounts, addresses, and payments included. Customers, items, and payment methods sync in both directions.
Updates come back from QuickBooks by polling: new and changed customers and items, quantity on hand for Inventory items, payment methods, and each invoice’s status, balance, paid date, and applied payments. Your POS and online store always know what’s been paid.

Order → QuickBooks Sales Receipt or Invoice: Paid orders post as sales receipts. Orders on terms post as invoices, with payments applied. Items are matched by ID, SKU, or name, or created. QuickBooks never emails the customer.
QuickBooks Invoice Status → iPaaS.com:
Invoice status, balance, paid date, and applied payments come back by polling, so connected systems can see what’s been paid.
Customer Sync: Customers and their billing and shipping addresses sync both ways. New customers are matched to existing ones by email (or by display name when there’s no email) to avoid duplicates.
Product and Inventory Sync: Inventory, NonInventory, and Service items sync both ways. Inventory items bring their quantity on hand. New items are matched by SKU, then by name.
Payment Method Translation: QuickBooks payment methods come in as reference values for translation, and can be created or updated from iPaaS.com.
Changes made in QuickBooks are picked up by polling. Records sent from iPaaS.com are created or updated in QuickBooks when they transfer.
Yes. Paid orders post as sales receipts and orders on terms post as invoices. Payments on invoices are recorded as QuickBooks Payments linked to the invoice.
New customers are matched to existing ones by email, or by display name when there’s no email. New items are matched by SKU, then by name. If a customer’s display name is already used by another customer, a vendor, or an employee, the email is appended to keep it unique.
No. The integration never emails the customer.
Yes. Square and Shopify both have live iPaaS.com integrations, so either can connect to QuickBooks Online through iPaaS.com. What syncs depends on the dataflows each integration supports.
Quantity on hand for Inventory items syncs from QuickBooks as a single location, since QuickBooks Online doesn’t track locations. It can come with the item or on its own.
Not in this version. Invoices sync back with their status, balance, paid date, and applied payments.
Customer: Synced both ways. Polling includes inactive QuickBooks customers.
Customer Address: The customer’s billing (BillAddr) and shipping (ShipAddr) addresses, transferred with the customer.
Product: Inventory, NonInventory, and Service items, synced both ways. New items use the Default Item Type and account settings.
Product Inventory: Quantity on hand for Inventory items, from QuickBooks. One location, since QuickBooks Online doesn’t track locations.
Payment Method: Synced both ways. Used as reference values for payment-method translation.
Transaction: Sales receipts and invoices created or updated in QuickBooks from iPaaS.com. Invoice status and payments return to iPaaS.com; sales receipts don’t in this version.
Transaction Line, Address, and Payment: Product lines, billing and shipping addresses, and payments on invoices. Each payment posts once, even if the transaction is resent.
Change MiSPs whenever you need to. Your configurations stay yours, fully portable, with nothing rebuilt from scratch. iPaaS.com is a certified standard, not a proprietary lock-in.
Connect a system once and route data everywhere it needs to go, standardized and consistent across every system in your dataflow. No rebuilding the same integration five times. No cleanup on the other end.
Predictable monthly pricing replaces the per-connector, per-integration cost creep that defines the status quo. You know what you're paying, every month, no exceptions.
Every dataflow is logged, governed, and audit-ready from day one. When compliance asks questions, you already have answers. Governance isn't a bolt-on: it's built into how data moves.
